#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Coffee Cup Cafe with Mint Macaron and Early Espresso
I am a coffee hound. For my birthday last year, Chris bought me a Nespresso machine, and I’ve had a lot of fun working out which pods are my favourite (anything under a 6 strength works nicely for me!) and I was enjoying a coffee the other day while planning my April projects, and realised that it’s been quite a while since I showed this brilliant stamp set and matching dies.
And while I’m not a huge fan of a flavoured coffee, I did like bringing in a little pastel green in the form of Soft Sea Foam cardstock and DSP stripes.
To make the coffee cup, I simply stamped Early Espresso onto the Soft Sea Foam cardstock, stamped the swirl onto whisper white, and the same with the greeting and coffee beans. With the greeting, I stamped the words and then put the coffee wrapper around those.
Then I die cut the lot!
At first I felt that the coffee cup looked a bit bland and plain against a white background, so out came the coffee bean stamps again and I created my own background there.
I hope you enjoy it, and if you have a favourite Nespresso Pod, let me know!
